In June, Avila Dawn Events hit the road to celebrate Shamen + Larsz’s union in Florida. I met Shamen and Larsz while coordinating their friend’s wedding in Hawaii; both of them were a part of the wedding part. At the end of that wedding, Shamen told me that she now understood why bride’s got a wedding planner and that she would be calling me.
Once back on the mainland, Shamen did call and we began planning her wedding. The couple was married at the beautiful Saint David Catholic Church. The church is breathtaking with its stained glass windows and exposed ceiling beams. One hundred and forty-five of their closest family and friends were present to witness their union. An upbeat, dance all-night reception followed at the Signature Grand. The bride’s family is from Haiti and they put some moves down on the dance floor. The whole day was one of love and laughter!!
