Introducing AVILA DAWN EVENTS!! I am so excited to introduce our New Name & New Look! So this year, my mom and I finally decided to get legit and official registered our business! Yippee. During this process, we both felt that our original name and brand, Unique by Design Weddings & Events, was too generic and bland.
When we started thinking about new names for the business one of the first ones I wrote down was Avila Dawntelle Events. My mom HATED it, as she didn’t like the ring of Dawntelle. Well let me start from the beginning with this name. Avila is my mother’s middle name and Dawntelle in my middle name. So I just combined the two. Now how do you think I felt when I heard my mother say she didn’t like the ring of Dawntelle. I am thinking HELL this is what you named me!! But let me not digress. So I cut the telle off and created Avila Dawn Events. Mom wasn’t totally sold on this name, we thought of others… MANY OTHERS, but none of them spoke to who we were. So I just asked my dad his thoughts and he confirmed with me that the name worked PERFECT for the business.
Well we had a name, but needed a look. I discovered Sarah at Signature by Sarah about 10 months ago when I was looking for a designer to design some items for my own wedding. Well on top of creating awesome designs her prices are affordable as well. That was all it took. I knew that I wanted bold colors with modern flair and a touch of southern. I know a lot in a small package. Sarah delivered! I can’t be happier with the outcome.
