I am absolutely thrilled to be able to share this wedding with you because it’s very special to my heart!! My brother got married and I was able to play a small role in being Taylor and Jerran’s planner. I must admit that I didn’t give them much choice, but these two are some of the most down to earth people and really just wanted a wedding that was truly representative of them.
Taylor and Jerran were married on 7.11.2020. Yes a COVID wedding and of course this wasn’t their initial date. They were originally planning to get married on 4.4.20, but we decided it was best to shift a few months. Well as time quickly approached, we knew that COVID was here for awhile and we either needed to push the date back again or decrease the guest count. This couple took it stride and decided to decrease their guest count from about 125 to 70. Once that was solified, the next hurdle came with moving ALL of our wedding vendors. Sadly, not everyone was available, so we worked to secure vendors that still matched their style and budget.
I must say this was one of my most favorite weddings to plan. The couple truly took a laid back approach and just let me do my thing. They wanted classic, chic and a great bar!! And I made sure they received all of that and some!
Taylor and Jerran handled planning a wedding during a global health crisis like absolute champs! I’m positive that the challenges these two endured during the planning process will no doubt make their marriage even stronger from the start. I know you two will do incredible things in the future together and I’m so excited to cheer you two on! Thank you for trusting Avila Dawn Events for your big day!
